In my mother's family bible, she has Nancy Gilliann (b. 1846) listed as a sister of her grandfather, James Henry Sebastian. They were the children of John Sebastian and Margaret Taulbee. However, she doesn't list who the husband of Nancy was. Joyce Turner Jones
Thanks, I'll add her to the Margaret Taulbee family, but I still don't think that Leander C. Elam was the husband of Nancy Gilliann but could be. The marriage I have and census doesn't confirm that marriage. Would you mind checking to see if your mother has any Elams in her bible? I've been working on this Margaret Taulbee Sebastian family the past couple of days, and I'm not coming up with much, but I don't have any Morgan County research material. Guess that's going to mean a trip one of these days. (By the way, Morgan has a new library, maybe I should check it out. Snowing today, no traveling for me.) I was hoping the library would buy the Morgan County marriages, I left a hint about a month ago. Smile Some of the Sebastian family were in Wolfe 1920.
