This is just a guess but Dewey South parents might be Mark South b. 6/1898 Breathitt County, parents were Jeremiah Weldon South, Jr. & Elizabeth A. Taulbee d/o Samuel Taulbee and Nancy Hollon. And mark's wife Martha Taulbee b. 1908 d/o John C. Taulbee & Sarah E. Noble. They are the right age for have Dewey as a son. These are the only Taulbee's I have that married into the South Family. I have a list of 10 children for Jeremiah W. South and Elizabeth A. Taulbee. But for Mark South and Martha Taulbee all I have is a marriage date of 8/21/1921 Breathitt County, KY Hope this helps.
