I have found several older Taulbee men on the US census who are listed as blind. I think I read somewhere that the blindness is inherited. Does anyone know what caused the inherited blindness- what the name of the disease is? my great grandmother was a Tolby(Taulbee) Pam
Could the blinding disease be retinitis pigmentosa? There is a case in one of the men of our branch of the family. It is an inherited condition which sometimes skips generations.
