I know we have been here before, but I can't find it. Mildred Taulbee Nickell, 73 of Nicholasville, widower of Quentin Nickell, died Sunday, June 15, 2003. Born Oct. 22, 1929, at Hazel Green Kentucky, Mildred was a daughter of the late Silas and Louise Barker Taulbee. She was a retired bookkeeper and a member of Jessamine Christian Church. Survivors include one son, Gary Nickell, and wife, Karen, of Lexington; one grandson, Scott Nickell and wife, Alison; and one granddaughter, Lacey Thomas, of Lexington; four sisters, Marie Abshear, Irene Moore, and Delma Hogan and husband, Junior, all of S. Lebanon, Ohio and Jean Fahnestozk, of North Carolina; two brothers-in-law, Bill Nickell and wife, Betty and Rex Nickell and wife, Darlene, all of Hazel Green; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. Burial followed in the Blue Grass Memorial Gardens with Betts and West Funeral in charge of arrangements.
