I can't find Chester either except there is a Chester Banks in 1920 in Breathitt Co., age 26, single. The age is off from the 1900 census. But he's with a Birchfield so he must be related to the Taulbees. 1920 Breathitt Co. I didn't find anything in Magoffin on this family. The first child would have been born too soon to be in the KBI, but the others should unless they were born out of state, the census says they were born in KY, but I can't find any of this family in 1910 either in Kentucky or any of the northern or western states. Joyce... This time I think I have your name right... Oddly enough we correspond with a Janet Jones on another line.... So I suppose I just decided to name you Janet... SORRY....!! I too have some family (McKnight & Wood) info that was written by my g-g-grandmother, great-grandmother as well as some info written by my great-grandfather. They had it all written down in a ledger. Kids names and dates, spouses, children etc. Some of it I have no other proof except for what they wrote. It is interesting to see the different handwritings. After my mother passed away, I did find an address for Rose Taulbee with some notes and family histories. Also, in previous postings Louise wrote that James Calloway died 26 Mar 1960 and Carole had the date as 4 Oct 1970. The date I have is 1970.
