I saw the reply to the query about Louisa K. Tate who married William Smith Jones in 1847. I do not think that she is related to the Aaron Tate family at all. His daughter Elizabeth Tate married John Lakeway, and his daughter Eliza Jane married William B. Little. In 1850, there were 5 Tate heads of household in the DeKalb Co AL census (plus one John Tate age 18). In 1860, there were 6 Tate heads of household. Louisa Tate was born c1829 and her siblings were all younger than she was. Her mother Elizabeth was listed in Dade Co GA in 1840, and that doesn't fit with the Aaron Tate family.
