Hello; I have the 1903-1940 Texas Death Index for Tate. If anyone would like a lookup, please email me. Pati Stone
You were telling about looking up Tate death index's in Texas. My Tates came from Arkansas to Texas. My Great Grandfather was Zachariah Benjamin Tate who was born June 29, 1863 in Ark. and married in abt. 1893 in Ellis Co., Texas. He died on Oct. 1, 1937 in Ellis County, Texas. In a death index or death certificate, does it tell what a person died of ? I am just wondering what all I can find out from this. There were other Tates from Ellis County, Texas too, I believe. There was a William H. Tate and his wife Mary Francis Tate, I think and a Burnie Tate from Ferris, Texas. I'm just wondering what all Tates you might find in the same general time period that my great grandfather was here from Ellis County and around there?
