I am looking for information on Sarah TATE. According to her son's entry in the 1880 census, she was born in Kentucky. An aunt says she was the daughter of Dr. James TATE, and that in 1823 or 1824 she married Benjamin UNDERWOOD. Benjamin and Sarah had a son named George Washington UNDERWOOD in 1827. In 1850, Benjamin and George are listed together in the Jennings County, IN census, but Sarah is not. This isn't much to go on, but I'd love to hear from anyone who might have further information!
