Hi, Have James Tate b. 1802 Harrison Co., Ky or Ohio, married Paulina ADAMS, also, of Harrison Co., Ky. they had several children in Ky., then 1 son in Indiana, the rest of the family born in Cole Co., Ill. one son, David Wesley (Webley 1850 Cole Co., Ill. census) later Civil War pension records show Wesley. Anyone with Adams or from that marriage. Have lots of records on part of the children, my husband gr grandson of David W. Tate. Thanks, Mary Widener
I am wondering if this James Tate and Paulina might be the parents of my Julia Florance Tate? b Dec 23, 1823 in New Albany, Ind - which is on the Ohio river right across from Louisville, KY???? She married John William Roberts in New Albany Apr 2, 1843 and died there Feb 23, 1865 - both are buried there along with his parents Julia Childs and William Roberts. John and his father were riverboat captains. Julia and John had 8 children that I have documented - the first born in 1844 and the last in 1859. Any connection???
