Robby - et. al - Regarding John Robert Tarver, born GA, 1830s (brother Robert Tarver who married a Narcissus) I have lots of Tarver information from the Burke County, Richmond County GA area. Nothing fits exactly, but there might be some clues in here. Specifically: John R. Tarver, born about 1843, son of Etheldred J. Tarver (est 1810 - after 1870) and Harriet Jane McNair ( est 1818, - after 1870) Etheldred J and Harriet were married 5 Feb 1835 in Richmond Co, GA. Their other known children were: Mary R, Etheldred, Nancy M, Robert M, John R, Sarah G and Jasmin. (Note: most of this is from census records) and I have no other information beyond 1850(Richmond Co, GA) and partial 1870 census (Whitfield Co, GA) Also have: John Robinson Tarver, born about 1799, died 4 Jan 1842 , buried in Blythe, GA. He married Elizabeth Shaw (11 Jan 1805 - 27 Sept 1880) on 9 Jan 1824. Their known children: Margaret Ann (1825-1897), Robert Ruffin (1826=1849); Margaret Mabel (est. 1827 - ?); Elizabeth Jane (est. 1830 - ?): Eleanor Maria (1832-1854); and Emma Anderson - (est. 1834 - ?) I know that Eleanor Maria Tarver (1832-1854) married Robert T. Wall on 17 Jan 1853. I have: Robert Tarver (est. 1803) married Ava Smith 7 Jun 1822in Richmond Co, GA. They had: Nancy 1826-1829; Etheldred Clayton (1827--1906); Noah Smith (1833-1892); Robert B (1837-1861); Smith S (1838 - ?) and Winnefred C (est. 1839 - ?). Of note: Noah Smith Tarver married Narcissa Youngblood about 1852. They had Benjamin Ruffin, James Elhannon, Julia Smith and Lula Florence) I have 'collected' these Tarvers over the years, although I am not connected to most of them - The families are mixed, mingled and confusing and most of the family groups have come from census information -Therefore, the assignment to given parents requires further verification. Some of the information is from wills/probate. I know some of this family went to Texas - don't know if there was a stop in Mississippi. Pat
