There are two Tarver-Bunch marriages in Wilkinson County records in 1821 as follows: Dennis and Rachael June 1821 Dempsey and Rachel June 18--? Is this a mistake in posting or could there be two different couples? <I am confident these refer to the same marriage. ldc> It is obvious that Dempsey WAS NOT hatched in a caggabe patch --Hence, there has to be a mistake somewhere. Also, in this Tarver lineage when it gets down to my people telling me that James Monroe Traver was a son of Isaac Hamilton he is not listed in the Mormon genealogy with all the other children. My Aunt who was a Daughter of James Monroe and a sister to my Father wrote in a letter to me some years ago(probably in the 70's) when I was seeking information that My Gr. Gr. Granfather married a Lofton. There is a listing in Franklin County, Ms. of a Nathaniel Tarver Marrying a June Lofton on March 31, 1835. So far I cannot find anything else about this couple.
