I would greatly appreciate help translating the following baptismal record from 1749. I understand 90% of it but will capitalize the words which I cannot translate. It is extracted from Registre Baptistaire de Vevey and recorded in the Boltigen parish records as follows: "Jean David, fils de Jean David Eigerter de Boltigen, BALLIAGE de Zweisimmen, habitant a Vevey, dans la Chatelaine de LYBENTHAL Elisabeth Auboissier, sa femme, a ete presente au S. Bateme par le Pere, AU NOM DE LA COMMUNAUTE de Boltigen le 19 May 1749." Thank you for any help. J. Watt __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Y!
