    2. Two e-mails from the BADEN-WURTTEMBERG List which may be of general interest to members of the SWITZERLAND-L List, are copied below. Essentially, a group of B-W listers have set up a FREE transcription service, and have generously offered to extend their service to SWITZERLAND-L . Portions of old German or Latin script which are difficult to read are encountered frequently. This service assists in transcribing such scripts. This is a service with significant potential to experienced and novice genealogists alike.
