    3. My thanks to Wolf, who is always so knowledgeable and helpful. I think I speak for nearly everyone on the mail list in expressing my appreciation of him. Since I just returned from a visit to Switzerland in June, I'll likely opt for hiring a Swiss genealogist this time, especially since I can't read that confounding old-fashioned European script worth a darned.
