Am looking for information on my ggrandfather Frederick Simon Blanc, b.1 May 1861 Kanton Bern. His father is Louis Blanc and his mother is Mary Magdalene D'Heresan, both of Switzerland. Frederick emigrated to American in 1879 and served in US Cavalry in AZ and TX; married Guadalupe Righetti in AZ in 1891. How do I go about finding his birth record and information on parents? Thanks.
