Hi List, I realize this is not genealogy related, but did not know where else to ask. Would anyone, in Switzerland, have a old Swiss automobile license plate they are not using. I collect license plates from different states and countries. I will pay for any shipping and your time. thanks, robert

Hi Robert. Ooops! Different system in Switzerland. You will not be able to get any Swiss plate unless you do it illegaly! The plates belong to the State (i.e. Canton). Whenever you unregister any vehicle the plate h a s to go back to the Canton. If not you are going to continue to pay your car tax.
