Hello from Australia ! This is my first request. I am looking for a birth certificate for my Grandfather, Paul BÄHR. He stated in his application for Australian Naturalization that he was born in Zug on 30th September 1860. Some years ago I wrote to the Registry of Births in Zug and Zurich and was told there is no record of his birth. Was also told it wasn't a Swiss name and I surely must have the spelling wrong. Paul's father was from Germany and he married a Swiss lady in Switzerland. They also had another child, Ernst. Could someone please help me find records of this family.
