Hello, I am new to this list and would like to knowif any one has any information on my family. Family always said the the family was from Baden, and the census in US, says Switzerland. Martin Hohl came to America in 1847 with his wife Christine (Schleben) Hohl and son George Hohl. Does anyone have anyinformation about this family. Family stories also say that he had a brothr somewhere in the North, maybe Ohio or Indiana, o one know for sure. dad said he knew his grandfather George wrote to his Uncle and his name started with a J, but was not John. John's run in ourline.
