Actually, you should be able to use any program you like. If you are using Windows XP, you have a utility program called Character Map which will allow you to select and then copy the special character you wish to use. Here are some samples: Ç, ä, ê, ó, ø, etc. If you do not have Windows XP, go to http://www.babelstone.co.uk/Software/BabelMap.html and you may download a program which will allow you to use special characters.
