    1. Merry Christmas to All
    2. Hello Everyone - Yeaaa! Have finally gotten my computer together today (with help from my nephew) and can finally get my Christmas letter out. Those of you who are on my email list will only get this letter, but it's the best I can do this year. I hadn't realized until started packing how much stuff I scchlepped down to Yuma over the 10 year perios and how much I accumulated until I had to start packing up. Thank heavens for lay's daughter, Carol, and all her help the last 9 days. I ended with about 50 melon boxes to schlep back up here to Vegas. Tom and his father-in-law came down in Tom's truck and a 15 foot trailer to get everything back. I thought it would take a whole day to get it all loaded, but with the help of some neighbors and a couple guys from church, it was done by 11:30 and we were up here by 5:30 and unloaded most of it that evening. I still have about 16 boxes left to unpack, because I have to take 2 steps back before I can put things away. Had to clean out the linen closet to get thengs put in there, had to clean and rearrange kitchen cupboards, and just had to clean. Still haven't gotten to the kitchen and laundry room curtains, they have only been taken down and washed once since I left! Unpacking is taking a lot longer then I expected - didn't account for the bad days I've had and just hid out in my bedroom all day. At least I'm taking care of myself, eating properly and taking my pills and supplements. I've been to the eye surgeon and will be having 2 cataract surgeries, the first on Jan 5th. I can't wait to get it over with and be able to see clearly again. The kids are all doing well and Therese is still poking along. Altho she doesn"t see well, she recognizes everyone by their voices. I still keep asking myself who has to learn what from her that she's still here. She has good days when she's laughing and joking and other days when she won't say a word. Fortunately she's in a very good nursing home and gets good care. I hope that you all will have a very blessed Merry Christmas and a healthy and Happy New Year. Much love, Alice
