Hello Glen, I have several WILD's in my tree, they were from Glarus Canton, but in the early 1500's or late 1400's the family came from Ober Toggenburg, which I believe now is in Canton St. Gallen. WILD's old family name was WILHELM. I have a Jakob WILD, born in 1555 in Haslen, Canton Glarus with no other info on him. I also have some AEBLI's from the town of Glarus in Canton Glarus. AEBLI's old family name was KITCHMATTER. They changed in the 1500's? Reason? Hope this help's in your search for your WILD roots. Jerry
