This is my first poasting. I am seeking any info on the following family, Niclaus (claus or klaus) Wild. Born 1510 in Haslen,Canon Glarus, He married Anna Zwingli. Born 1514 in Wilhaus,St Gallen. Their children are Johannes (F) born 1540. Heinrich (M) Born 1542. Niclaus(M) Born 1544. Peter(M) Born 1547.Elsy(F) Born 1549.Bartholome(M) Born 1550. Anneli(F) Born 1553. Jakob (M) Born 1555. I am seeking help to find out if their Father Niclaus had any siblings in the hope that their may be some info on his parents,I only have a foot note on his father as Alt Johann Wild ,also known as (Old Johann of Toggenburg) I have no info on his mother. I am also trying to find out the orgin of how the Wild's got their SerName, I have been told one story that a group of familys left the villages and went up to the Alps and lived in caves dropping their Sernames and taking up the name of Wild can anyone please help me on this?
