Joan, Kalchst�tten (or Kalchstaetten) is part (a hamlet) of the village of Guggisberg in the canton of Bern.Today's phone book lists eight private households in Kalchst�tten. Both Staudenmann and Zwahlen are listed as having held citizenship's rights before 1800 in Guggisberg.
