Dear Mel: Looking at some of the parish records of other villages around Moosaffoltern [Dieterswil (BE)], it appears they show up in the registers for Messen in canton SO (Solothurn) - the cantonal border is very close by. This is what the LDS FHL Catalog said for Messen SO: "......Includes Balm, Brunnenthal, Gächliwil, Oberramsern in Kt. Solothurn and Bangerten, Etzelkofen, Mülchi, Ruppoldsried and Scheunen in Kt. I would guess your best bet is Bolligen. You could try <LPAG@LPAG.CH> which is a community administration of some kind.
