Does anyone have any information on HALTER surname in Switzerland? While flying through Zurich a year or so ago my husband found candy in the airport called HALTER. (strange branding for candy, eh?) Does anyone know anything about the HALTER family which is responsible for that? I believe our HALTERs went from Switzerland to Alsace & then to America early 1800's. Any help is appreciated.
