Thanks so much to the very kind folks on this list who have responded with the location of Seeb. It is a village north of the city of Zurich and its old church records are in the parish of Bulach. I am confident this is the correct location for our Anna Margaretha Meyer (12 Aug 1708) as she was the wife of Hans Jacob Hoffmann of neighboring Oberglatt as recorded in the household censuses of Oberglatt. I was also asked about "Tracing Your Swiss Roots" which is a book by Maralyn A. Wellauer published in 1979, rev. 1988. It is one of three books the libraries here have that are very helpful. The others are "Handy Guide to Swiss Genealogical Records" by Jared H. Suess, 1978 and "Swiss Genealogical Research: an Introductory Guide" by Paul Anthon Nielson, 1979.
