Hello: I am a new subscriber and am looking for any information on my great grandfather--JACOB MICHEL. He was born July 31, 1840 in Canton of Zurich, Zurich Switzerland. He came to the United States with his brothers in 1857 and settled in Swiss, Gasconade County, Missouri. He married MARIA PHILIPPS, who was born in Untervas, Graubuenden Kt., Switzerland.
