Hello fellow listers: I've just found out that my grgrgrandmother was educated in a private school in Switerland in late 1870's or 1880's. This education was paid for by her VERY rich uncle in New York city. Trying to locate the school is nearly impossible from this side of the ocean, but some of you may know which schools were patronized by wealthy New Yorkers at that time - some of you may even have had ancestors go to school there! I hope there is someone on this list who can assist me to find the right school and perhaps to eventually access the old records of it. Thanks so much for your assistance.
