Hello Leonard, My maiden name was Bucher. My great grandfather was William (A?) Bucher. I do not know exactly his place of birth in Switzerland-either Bern or Lucerne. I have been told his parents were "hotel people" He was an attorney and immigrated to Leavenworth, KS where he was married Do you have any Williams, Roberts or Richards in your family tree?
