Gustav, Gottfried, Daniel LECHNER went to the US from Wil, Zürich, Switzerland about 1869 and joined the army. They were declared missing by the court in Switzerland in 1912. I have possible death dates (1877, 1878/75, 1881). >From letters written to family Gustav was married to a Reine MOOR possibly in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, about 1872 and had a son and daughter (died as child). He divorced in about 1877. >From the same letters, Daniel married a Luisa LUTHI about 1874 and had a daughter. They lived in Phildelphia, Pensilvania, at that time. I am looking for the decendants of the three brothers. Also, since I have never done any research in the US, where do I go to to find birth, death and marriage information.
