    3. You might want to check with the LDS family history library catalogue section on their site and then search using this town and then country of Switzerland. I did this for Dorlikon where those with the surname of EPPRECHT came from in 1743. I found out that this village was renamed around 1850-1870 I don't remember exact dates) to Thalheim an der Thur. This site has helped me very much and now I have this new name and printed up a map of Switzerland using Encarta 1999 and now have a map with this villages name on it.
