Hi everyone, I have not been able to find the town of Rebingen, Switzerland. My g-greatgrandmother, Katherina Ruf, brought her confirmation certificate, dated March 3rd, 1844, with her when she immigrated to US. It states that she is from Rebingen. Does anyone know where this town is? Could it be town that has changed the name? She married Rudolph Bechley(Baechle,Bachle,Beckley) and they had a child born in Phil, Pa in 1862. I do not know if they married here or before they came to States. His town of origin in Switzerland is unknown, Ohio census looks like Oberengstringen, but have not been able to confirm this either. Can anyone help me with these questions, or tell me where to go for information. I have checked most of the Swiss sites on www. Thanks for any help. Donna
