As I understand it, the Campiche family name is from Sainte Croix. I have a Marie CAMPICHE, daughter of Samuel CAMPICHE & Susannah CHAPPUIS. According to family documentation, Marie was born 9 October 1832 or 1834 in Geneva. I have been through the microfilms of Births and Marriages for Sainte Croix & Geneva and found no reference to either parents or daughter. Found a few Campiches in Sainte Croix, although not as many as I had expected. I´m beginning to wonder if I`m barking up the wrong tree.
