I recently posted a query about my TOUCHON and GRAU lines from Neuchatel. I have had some very nice people respond. I mentioned that a family PERRET from Switzerland was next door to them on the census for Goshen, Connecticut, 1900. I do not know if there is a relation to the Touchons. Several people have expressed an interest in the PERRET line, so I thought I would post here what was on the census. Remember, this is all I know about this family. Henry H. Perret, born August 1864 in Switzerland Rosa, born 1866 in Switzerland Married 12 years Henry H., son, b. 1893? in Swit. (must be error, as census indicates they moved to USA in 1888.) Ruth, born 1893 in Connecticut Emma, born 1895 " Albert P., born 1896 " George H., born 1898 " Numa? A. , son, b. 1899 " Fred W. b. 1900 " Henry H. is listed as a farmer. It indicates that the parents of both Henry and Rosa were also born in Switzerland. Our family of TOUCHONS is next door. I need to mention, just in case in might help someone, that there is a boarder or roomer listed as well in the TOUCHON household. Edmond L'EPLETTENIER? b.
