My g-g-grandfather left Rheineck on July 24, 1858 and left Bremen, Germany on August 14, 1858. I am just trying to determine how he might have gotten from Rheineck to Bremen? >From a map of Switzerland in 1859, it appears that there was already a railroad system in the northern part of Switzerland at that time.
