SWEET Sr., 32, died Jan. 2, 2005, at Charleston Area Medical Center in West Virginia. Born Sept. 19, 1972, he was a son of Ora Lee Sweet and the late Guy Wilburn Sweet. He was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Sweet. Survivors include his mother, Ora Lee Sweet; two sons, Jimmy Ray Sweet Jr. and Jonathan Sweet; four brothers and sisters, Rondal Sweet, Billy Sweet, Kathy Vance and Patricia Sweet; a half brother and sister, Gary Sweet and Debbie Wike; and an uncle to many. The Celebration of Life Service will be conducted by the Rev. Bobby Langston at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 6, 2005, at Catawba Funerals & Cremations. Burial will be in Catawba Memorial Park. The family will be in The Celebration of Life Room at the funeral home two hours prior to the service. Catawba Funerals & Cremations is providing professional services to the Sweet family.
