Hi Becky, I haven't found anything else yet on the Virginia Sweets. I had never heard that the Rockbridge Sweets maybe related to the Sweets in NY. I was wondering where William was in the 1820 census, maybe in NY? I'll see if I can find a connection there and let you know. Hope all is well, Michelle
Thanks Michelle, As for the NY connection, although, I see simular naming patterns, I have yet to find any proof. I can't seem to get past William. But something interesting though, is that the name Caleb was given to one of the grandsons. Don't know if this means anything or not, but I think it is worth placing it on the "Hmmmm..." list for now.
