She was the 2d wife of Alvin Peck of Pittsfield, NY (m. Edmeston 23 Feb 1867). Her death certificate says that her parents were Frank Sweet, b. NY and Mary Sweet, b. Michigan. When she applied for a Civil War widow's pension in 1909, one of the people who vouched for her was Ella A. Sweet, widow of Caleb Sweet, Jr. I have not been able to track down Frank Sweet yet, but I am trying to find out what, if any, his relationship to Caleb Sweet was.
