census records from Alexander County, NC, beginning in 1860, show a widow, Sarah SWEET born about 1808 in North Carolina. I cannot find her on the 1850, using ancestry's every name idex for the 1850 census. I searched under Sarah, Sara, Sallie, Sally. I searched for ALL SWEET in all states who were born in NC and still couldn't find her. I am trying to find her so I can see the name of her husband. She was widowed by 1860, maybe even by 1850 since I didn't find a child born after 1848. The children I did find were John born 1831, George Washington born 1835, Catherine C born 1837, Benjamin Franklin born 1842, William born 1848, Leander born 1848. These birth years are approximate, based on the ages in census records. I need to find the name of the husband of this Sarah/Sallie. Be careful who you choose to hate, it may be someone you love
