Daniel[3] son of John[2] did indeed have a wife Eleanor, but there is no evidence she was a Carpenter. The will of Timothy Carpenter refers to a daughter Ethelenah SWEET and grandson Philip SWEET, not a daughter Eleanor SWEET. John Chandler
