Hi Paul, Just on the outside chance that you may have the SWEET connection that I have been searching for, I will tell you that my Joseph SWEET was born supposedly in NS, Canada. There is some research that indicates that he may have been born in England. His date of birth is abt. 1810. Most researchers of this family believe him to be the son of James, son of Benoni and Lydia. However, I see no proof of this and I also see that other data indicates otherwise. Joseph died abt. 1871 in NS. He lived most of the time in Hants Co. He married first, Rosanna Barron in Hants Co., then Rachael Beiswenger possibly in Halifax.
