My great-grandmother was Etta Sweet, and I am seriously trying to verify who her father was. It appears to be this Oscar per the census. Oscar seems to have died when Etta was still a young teenager. Do you have any info on that? Also, his son, Percy, was a young man (about 37) when he died. Would you know if these were due to tradegies, or to an unfortunate hereditary factor? Thanks!
