I noticed in one of the gedcoms for Harvey Sweet that he may have been born in Marshall, Indiana. There is a marriage record in Marshall that indicates that Francis M. Sweet married Sarah D. Mullenhower there on Jan 27, 1878 (Bk D, Pg 450). Earlier census records seem to indicate that Francis may have been the son of Jacob Sweet and his wife Elizabeth LNU, and that Sarah D. (she was listed with the middle initial D. in both the 1860 and 1870 census records) was the daughter of Henry Mullenhour and Elizabeth Flowers, married in Kosciusko, IN on Sep 17, 1856. If this information is correct and links to the family, that could be a big help for your friend's family.
