An Elizabeth Sweet lived next to a ggg(?)grandfather of mine, Jacob Kittles, in South Carolina in the mid to late 1700's. Then, a little later, I saw that he had taken a bride by the name of Elizabeth. Elizabeth had been a head of household and then she was married, so I figured she married her neighbor, Jacob. She was listed as the widow of Jacob Kittles in 1784. She and Jacob had at least 2 sons - John and Jacob. I'm actually trying to find Jacob's ancestors. As far as I can tell, they lived in the lowlands of South Carolina, maybe around Beaufort.
