He was living with the family of his son Parker B. Sweet in Cumberland Co., IL at the 1880 census, a widower. John gave his birthplace and that of his father as VT, that of his mother as NY. Parker gave his mother's birthplace as VT also. Can anyone tie this John to their Sweet line, or give me any info on his wife or his other children? Thanks.
