    3. Hi Barb, I also have a James D. Sweet who is my great grandfather. He was married to a Sarah middle intial A. last name unknown at this time. He immigrated from Canada in 1880. The 1900 census in Malden, Mass. says his b-day was Dec. 1849 and Sarah's Nov. 1850, I think they made a mistake though as they say she was 39 and he 50. They had 15 children but only 7 living in 1900 one being my grandmother Eva Ethel b. Sept. 18, 1879, she was the only one born in Canada the rest in Mass. I found that James and Sarah was b. somewhere in Nova Scotia and my grandmother was b. in Prince Edward Island, I think they might have had her on the way to the states. The other children living at home was William, b. Apr. 1883, Nora,b. Aug 1884, Sadie, B. Feb. 1887, Edna, b. Mar. 1892 and Muriel, B. Oct. 1897. The only one I can remember is Muriel as she use to come and see my Dad in the early 1950's when I was a little girl. I have no other infomation on My ggrandfather James then this so if you think their is a connection would love to trade info. You can email me a lfrank@maine.rr.com Look forward to hearing from you.
