Katherine C. Gritman) family, I am descended from his son William H. Sweet, from his son Charles Nelson Sweet, from his daughter Lillie Adaline Sweet (m. Fred Rhomeo Budd), etc. Family history dictates that Thomas Sweet is descended from "Bone-setter" Sweet who is rumoured to have been of Welsh ancestry but from the island of Guernsey.
