Sweet and have no idea how he fits in the Sweet family line that I'm researching. The info from his 1902 obituary is: First master of Pokeepsie Lodge AF&AM Died in Brooklyn, NY - buried in Greenwood Cemetery Part of a family of 15 children - 14 boys; 1 girl Brother of Egbert Sweet Before the Civil War he kept the Franklin house Prominent citizen Was for several years a letter carrier Opened a restaurant on Fulton St. Sons--Jesse Underhill Sweet, E. A. Sweet Daughters--Frances Sweet Stockwell, Matilda Sweet Wife Lucinda, died 1894 I have found him in Greenwood Cemetery, Brooklyn, buried with Jesse Underhill Sweet, wife Lucinda, and daughter Matilda. I've also found him in the 1880 census for Brooklyn, NY. I'm stuck! Can anyone help?
