I am researching John Sweet b 1792 in Lanlivery Parish Cornwall EN. Came to Canada with his family in 1837 and settled in Durham County ON. There were no Thomas in the family. Where did your Thomas Sweet Originate? Joyce, I have a SWEET family from Cornwall. William b. 1781 and Eleanor SMITH married 1 Feb 1801. William's father was William b. 1746, mother Elizabeth b. 1750.
