My GGgrandfather, Delos Sweet, was( according to his daughter at the time of his death in 1914) born in Stockbridge, Madison Co., N.Y. on Nov. 19,1829 to Samuel Sweet ( born Conn.) and Rebecca Livingston (born Mass.). Do you know the date of publication or the publisher of Genealogy and History of the Sweet Family in America by James Sylvester Perry Sweet? I haven't been able to get back beyond the information I mentioned here about Delos's parents. Thank you.
